An Autumn in 2011

Miss Moss

Fall’s not just about predominantly dark earthy tones.

How I wish Singapore had four seasons. Or rather, I want to migrate somewhere with four seasons so that I can play with daffodils in Spring, drink Coconut juice on the beach in Summer, kiss falling Maple leaves in Autumn and lie in the snow in Winter!

Browsing through and spotted Helmut Newton’s iconic photo of Le Smoking, 1975. Women in tuxedo is one of my all-time favourite styles! It gives a sense of subtle masculinity on females, questioning the traditional guides of what men and women should wear. It overthrows conventional beliefs, and I like how women can also pull off (traditionally thought as) menswear, at times even better than men themselves. Remarkable <3

NOTES //

  1. Nine West: Karen Elson — Midnight Sun *grabs my screen*
  2. Tsumori Chisato – I saw her retail outlet at The Forum, but at that time, I didn’t look at her designs carefully because I thought the store looks too plain. Now that I revisit her designs, I am utterly captivated, especially by her Labrador Clutch. I WANT IT SO BAD, but it, sadly for me, costs a bomb. I think I’ll do a little entry for me soon!
